Violet Flame was developed over five years and approximately 20 rounds of design to create something surprisingly difficult to find: clothing that feels otherworldly while working beautifully in everyday life.

Our soft, stretchy designs move with natural shifts in shape and weight. We photographed the same size Medium on three women ranging from 145 to 185 pounds, and each looked beautiful in it.
The clothing embraces and smooths your curves without pinching, digging in, riding up, or creating unwanted bulges.
Cover or Reveal Yourself
Violet Flame is feminine without requiring you to reveal more than you want. Adjustable ties, foldable waistbands, and thoughtful silhouettes allow you to show more skin or choose additional coverage around the bust, belly, and thighs.
Our tops and dresses also offer gentle support and can be worn with or without a bra, depending on your body and preference.
Softness That Goes Deep
Our signature fabric blends Bamboo Viscose, Organic Cotton, and a touch of spandex for exceptional softness, stretch, breathability, and durability.
It feels luxurious against sensitive skin while remaining opaque, low-pill, and machine washable - because beautiful clothing should feel just as magical as it looks.

The Mermaid Behind Violet Flame
I have always loved beautiful clothing, but I have never been willing to sacrifice comfort for style. Itchy, scratchy, constricting, sweaty, fussy, plasticky clothing? No, thank you.
As a curvy woman whose weight has ranged from 135 to 185 pounds, I know how frustrating it is to find clothing that continues to fit and flatter through normal body changes. Too many pieces pinch, bunch, ride up, create bulges, or leave my chest spilling out in places I never intended.
When I did find gorgeous stretchy clothing, it was often designed for younger, straighter bodies, or made primarily from polyester and acrylic.
In 2020, after another fruitless online search, I realized the clothing I wanted simply wasn’t out there.
“I could make it,” I thought. “How hard could it be?”
As it turns out: kinda hard.
It took five years, approximately 20 design rounds, and countless refinements to get the fit, fabric, and details right. Violet Flame emerged from that process: clothing designed to embrace your curves, move with your changing body, and bring a little otherworldly beauty into everyday life.
